Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor who is known for playing in the well-known television series Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. In college, he began to take an interest in acting. While at the University of Colorado at Boulder it was where he studied acting. His television characters have gained him a lot of recognition. He's been able easily play characters from both sides of the law and grab the audience's attention. He played the character of the serial killer on his first television project as well as later portrayed as an NYPD detective. The small screen performances of his have been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. Eyes that are piercing blue on his eyes are thought as the most captivating characteristic. These have been used to portray rough characters and give them charisma. He was named in People's magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
